I was very tired this week (Reasons unknown) so I decided to take naps every day while Stacey constantly was playing on the computer. Though when it was time to for her go to her room for bed, I refused. I was completely fine with laying by the stairs. Then she started to push on my hind-quarters with her feet. This was much to my irritation, so I gave her what I personally think she deserves. A growl or 2 with a possible added biting or barking. This made her pretty mad at me, but she eventually gave up on me and went to bed. Maybe I should start wearing a sign saying 'do not disturb' or 'do not push.' That's it for this week. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
When Stacey was cleaning out her bed cabinets, she found an old teddy bear used in a decoration around the house once. I happened to be napping on her bed so she slipped the bear under my arm. I thought that I'm too tired to chew on this teddy bear. This is a picture of me and my bear. I think I'll call him Teddy! That's it for this week. I forgot about the week of Halloween to post so pardon me. Oh well, talk to you soon.
My left eye have been draining for about 3 days.On either Monday or Tuesday, Mom tried to look at it because I kept it shut tight in the morning after playing with Stacey before her school bus came. Well, when Mom opened up my left eye, she freaked out because whenever I'm sleepy, dogs have this layer of red tissue that protects their eyes when the go to sleep which was in view of Mom and Stacey. Stacey told Mom the fact so she calmed down because Mom thought my eye was shrinking. So Stacey and Mom assumed that I was only tired, so after Stacey got on the bus, My eye was a lot better. Who says dogs can't pull a prank? Well, Happy Halloween everyone! New post coming up next weekend! Oh and that's an old pic of me yawning. Bye for Now!
I've been a naughty girl this week! I dug in Emma's sandbox and dug all the way down to the sprinkler pipe. I don't think Stacey's Dad was impressed. Speaking of which, it's his birthday on Friday. Happy Birthday Dad! Well, that's all for this week. I cannot wait to see some of my owner's siblings soon. Catch ya' later!
The Ball Came Back!Well, this is the story that took place on last Thursday. My owner Stacey and I were happily playing with this ball that was about 1 or 2 inches tall and wide. The ball belonged to Stacey's little sister Emma but she didn't care if we played with it. Anyway, we were bouncing it around the place near the front door. It was my turn to hold the ball and all of a sudden... *GULP!* I swallowed the ball! My owner ran over to check my mouth but it was gone into my tummy. My owner gave me a small scolding because it made Emma cry when Stacey told her what happened to the ball.Later that day, Stacey told everyone else what happened. Mom hoped that I was going to be ok with a plastic ball sitting in my stomach. Well, at night, while Stacey was practicing piano, I managed to find some cat food that the neighborhood cat coughed up and it may be yucky to people like Mom or Stacey, but I guess dogs have different tastes for food. The only food I don't like is carrots and peas. When it was bedtime, I got to sleep on the floor in Stacey's room. In the middle of the night while Stacey was sleeping, I felt like something was coming up. So when Stacey had Mom wake her up, she noticed that there was the ball covered in pre-digested kitty food. She laughed and yet was grossed out because the food marked the floor with a nasty stain. She told everyone in the family about me spitting out the ball and all laughed by making jokes of it. Well that's it for that story. When Jake Came Over To PlayMy dog companion and neighbor, Jake came over to play on Friday. It was so much fun. Though he kinda acts like he's top dog like when I innocently tried to see Stacey while she was outside, Jake snapped at me and we began fighting. That made Stacey mad at both me and Jake so she left. But I still can forgive Jake. After all, neutered male dogs will be neutered male dogs. I can't wait to go and play at his house next time. We still are best buds. This is a picture of Jake and I. Talk to you all next week!
Hi! I'm Belle! I'm a Golden Retriever who lives in Washington. My owner is typing my blog for me so I can say hi to all my owner's friends and family. I am 1 year old, my favorite toy is my rubber chicken, and favorite foods are popsicles and pizza! Aren't I a junky?
Anyway, two of my best tricks are playing dead and giving high fives. I also like playing with my furry friends who live near me. One is a hamster named Cheesecake, another is my neighbor Jake the golden retriever, and the neighborhood cat, Kitka (Actually she doesn't like me that much.) My owner and I would like to share my life with you by posting once a week. Well, I hope you all enjoy my blog!
